Paul was involved in a very bad traffic accident while driving his Model S Roadster on the Lansing-Dearborn 2008 Run.

Fortunately, Paul was traveling alone and was not hurt.

Paul and Patti's daughter, Hannah is the Managing Editor for Body Shop Business, an automobile trade magazine.

She wrote an article about the accident which appeared in the magazine.
